When, if not now??? An AIESEC posting...
After a long break, yet again, my apologies for the long silence... and for failing my new year's resolution already after about a day into the new year. Don't give up hope!! However, I do feel that I might not be the classical daily-bloggin kinda guy... well, well...
Anyway... even though it is in the middle of the night right now, and I wouldn't mind some sleep RIGHT NOW, I feel the strong urge to post this even RIGHT NOWER!!!!!!!
AIESEC, a passion of mine for the last 5, almost 6 years. An organisation that has seen me climb and fall, that has seen my be in my happiest and sadest of moods, that has seen me succeed and fail, that has opened many doors, and has offered some of the best friendships.
The term 2006/07 is the year, when I started the final stage of my @XP, will go into my history of one of the most incredible years ever...
CHECK THIS OUT:
First:
My home LC has elected a new EB. So cool... Congrats guys, you'll have a great year ahead and it's just so good to see that our LC is moving on into the next exciting chapter (AIESEC time flies). Crazy!!!!

Apart from that, let me tell you about my more immediate AIESEC world:
Giovanni, my LCVPHR, my successor as LCP, one of my dearest friends, has joined the MC in Ecuador, as one of the first Swiss to do an international MC experience after quite a while. So has Verena, my LCVPTN, who has joined the MC in Denmark.
Swiss AIESECers going on CEEDs in Pakistan, Thailand, China, and all sorts of other places.. and of course the two former MC pillars Robster and Bine Bee and also some of my closest friends, who have moved on into another AIESEC role in Thailand and Colombia respectively.
Long introduction about my friends and their great international AIESEC experiences and successes, but now here is the bomb, the great news, the half expected and well deserved and so amazing news: this very same Rob 'Lobbie' Parkinson, a former Swiss MCP with UK roots, who is now leveraging his knowledge into Thailand has been elected to be a Director on AIESEC International!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A great success for a great guy. Congrats, Rob.
That's me at a party with him together with our favourite Indian Party fellow back in Switzerland quite a while back.
So, here's my shout out to AIESEC in more than 100 countries and territorries and to my friends on all 5 continents!!
And to next steps. Wherever they take us!
